[Production vs Reproduction]

A cultural aesthetic is not a stationary thing. It changes as the topography, religion, ecology, history, and epistemology changes. Investigating the parallel influences and tangential differences of these forces between cultures is the kind of anthropological exploration I embarked upon in my journey through India.

Some of the questions I asked myself as a designer are:

"How does their aesthetic vary from the US in relation to their view of the world?"

"How does the influence of the Internet and the resulting paradigm shift occurring around the world affect this aesthetic?"
